Monitoring Data
The complete data is puplished in the yearly reports (in both English and German). Until 2002 data from 552 reference areas from 18 European countries could be integrated in the program. 550 contributors provided reproductive data for about 128,500 raptor and owl broods. From 1957 to 2002 we registered 4,554 data "collections". The world "collection" hear means "control area survey year". That means that for 4,554 collections an area must be surveyed for 4,554 years or 4,554 must be surveyed one year (it is not important how many species are surveyed on that area). Every year another 6,000 to 10,000 broods are added through about more than 200-400 collections. The following map shows the controll areas in Germany. That area, including the area number and the person working on that area can be seen in our yearly report.
